Mission Together is the Catholic Church’s official children’s charity for overseas mission. It is the children’s branch of Missio. Previously known as Holy Childhood, Mission Together has been working in Catholic schools and parishes worldwide since 1843, encouraging children to pray, fundraise and become missionaries themselves – children helping children…

Mission Together encourages children to play a leading role in the care of the spiritual and physical wellbeing of their brothers and sisters throughout the world.

Mission Together:

  • Is the children’s branch of Missio, the Pope’s official charity for overseas mission.
  • For 175 years it has helped children to live out the Gospel and to put their faith into action.
  • Has the task to build the family of God across the world.
  • Plays a major role in providing feeding programmes, healthcare, education and catechesis.
  • Sends 97% of the money raised by children to support children living in poverty overseas.

Our Missio Diocesan Director is Fr Wayne Coughlin who can be contacted on 01234 352607 or parishpriestbedford@gmail.com or have a look at the Mission Together website or more information.
